This policy explains the information Sale Scan handles and the choices available to you.
Information we handle
Guests may keep preferences locally on their device. Signed-in users may sync their email account, saved sales, followed stores, theme preferences, private in-app alerts and notification-device token.
How information is used
We use this information to provide account access, saved items, store-following features, alerts, preferences, security and essential service operations. We do not sell private account data.
Service providers
Sale Scan may use service providers for authentication, database hosting, notifications, hosting and operational monitoring. They process information only as required to provide those services.
Retailer and affiliate links
Opening an official retailer page takes you to a third-party service governed by that retailer’s policies. Some links may be affiliate links and may allow Sale Scan to earn a commission without increasing your price.
Your choices
You can sign out at any time. Where account deletion is available in the app, it permanently removes the account and synced private data handled by Sale Scan, subject to limited records we may be legally required to retain.
Data security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect information. Data is retained only while needed for the service, security or applicable legal obligations.
Children
Sale Scan is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
